IHG® Army Hotels, Lendlease, and the U.S. Army are thrilled to have opened the first Staybridge Suites® Hotel on a U.S. military installation. The ribbon cutting took place last month on Fort Belvoir.
With 141 studios, one-bedroom and two-bedroom suites, each with fully-equipped kitchens and separate living spaces, this upscale extended-stay hotel is ideal for long-term guests. Additionally, the hotel includes 20 suites for guests with accessibility needs to accommodate guests from Fort Belvoir Community Hospital across the street.
This hotel was built with a sense of community in mind. You’re welcomed by a great room with a fireplace, can enjoy the outdoors on the patio or under the covered gazebo, gather with friends and family in our large breakfast area, take advantage of meeting spaces large enough for as many as 60 people, and visit the Distinguished Visitors floor lounge.
In addition to these amenities, enjoy the perks of a modernized zero-entry pool, The Pantry – a 24-hour convenience store, and flexible storage lockers for large items.
Family-friendly is a priority for this hotel, which is why it was built with a specially designed children’s lounge – so bring the kids!
With all that, we’re thrilled to have the Staybridge Suites on Fort Belvoir be the 26th branded hotel opened on U.S. military installations through PAL (Privatization of Army Lodging). Other branded hotels include 17 Holiday Inn Express® hotels and eight new-build Candlewood Suites® hotels.
